TUESDAY is INTERIOR PLAZA SCENES & BLACK TIE WEDDING SCENES. Season is FALL, current day!

The Plaza does not permit any outside food on the ground floor, in convention rooms, or in ballroom shooting areas.  Catered breakfast will be available at the truck, and lunch will be available at holding. Craft Service will be set up directly outside the hotel, just outside the entrance on either 58th or 59th Street, depending on the set's proximity.

Please do not come with nothing, if you do not have the complete, proper attire please bring what you have.

WEDDING GUEST: You are attending a black tie wedding at The Plaza. The vibe is rich, upper east side, high end glamour! The season is fall so nothing super summery (aka silk chiffon floral, linen, etc.) Please stick to a palette of jewel tones and neutrals, nothing too bright. See attached boards in booking email.


Women: Gowns, heels, jewelry to match. Nothing summery, no linen, nothing too bright.

Men:  White T-shirt or tank top to wear under clothes, black socks. Tuxedos, tuxedo shoes, tuxedo shirts, cufflinks, shirt studs, bow ties. Tuxedos can be jewel tones, navy, neutrals or black.  

HOTEL GUEST CHANGE

PLEASE NOTE: FOR TOMORROW’S WORK YOU CAN ONLY WEAR NEUTRALS / MUTED TONES. NOTHING LOUD OR BRIGHT. BLACK, BROWN, BEIGE, NAVY, CREAM, OLIVE, KHAKI, GREY, MUTED GREENS AND BLUES. NO LEOPARD PRINT AT ALL. 

The season is FALL. Please refer to the attached mood boards, which have images for men and women. You are guests at the Plaza Hotel, lunching or staying at the hotel or passing through the lobby. Please wear chic, expensive looking clothing! Quiet elegance is the name of the game. Please pay attention to your “type” and lean into it. Examples: If you are a businessman, wear a nice suit. If you are a lady who lunches, dress for a chic, elegant lunch, etc. 

Hotel Guest Women: tweed jackets and suits, skirt suits, blazers, skirts, trousers, silk blouses, beautiful knits, elegant coat / jacket options, boots or chic heels / flats, Hermes scarves or similar, statement jewelry, pearl jewelry, etc. Upscale handbags. Please bring fur coats or faux fur coats if you have them or a nice coat option.

Hotel Guest Men: Suits, knits / sweaters, dress pants or chinos, leather belts, cable knit sweaters, cardigans, blazers, ties, turtlenecks, dress shirts, loafers, lace up dress shoes, knit vests, argyle sweaters, elegant coats or trench coats. 

ALL HOTEL STAFF: Please wear whatever you brought to your fitting or what you were told to bring on the day. Dress shoes all around. If you have any questions about what to bring please direct them to BG Casting.


HAIR AND MAKEUP: THIS IS A BLACK TIE EVENT! 

Everyone should arrive with makeup and hair ready for BLACK TIE EVENT. It should be clean, upscale, and very formal, suitable for a black tie wedding. Men should come clean-shaven and groomed if you usually shave, or with groomed facial hair. Clean & dry hair please. 

Please let us know, give a heads up, if you have any visible tattoos that need to be covered. 

NO gels, nails should be manicured in a soft or neutral color.

PLEASE REMEMBER:

  • Please be professional and get to set at your designated call time. Make sure you check in with the PA in holding BEFORE you go get breakfast or go to wardrobe. Please make sure the PA checks off your name and check-in# and gives you a voucher before you step away.

Everyone must bring valid, unexpired ID to fill out the I-9 on the voucher you will be given on set. You cannot work without presenting identification. 

IF YOU HAVE A VISA, RESTRICTED SSN CARD, OR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION CARD OF ANY KIND, YOU MUST CONTACT CASTING (thesham@gwcnyc.com) IMMEDIATELY.

PLEASE BRING:

A) an unexpired US Passport or US Passport Card, Permanent Resident Card, or an unrestricted Employment Authorization Card that contains a photograph

OR

B) unexpired US state-issued driver's license, US federal or state government-issued photo ID, or, for minors, a medical record or report card

AND

C) an unrestricted U.S. Social Security account number card or US-issued birth certificate

If you have any one of the options under A), that is all you need to bring. If you don't have an A) document, you must bring BOTH one B) and one C) document.
