BACKGROUND:

ALL BG #s 1-20 with picture cars: 3:48am report to HOLDING.

BG WARDROBE:

Please refer to your wardrobe notes email for specific notes.



HAIR/MAKEUP DETAILS:

-All Background Actors are requested to arrive camera-ready. Meaning please have your hair and basic makeup done before you arrive to set.

Makeup should feel intentional, and refined—never trend-driven or distracting. Focus on a lip or an eye, upper class group. The focus is on healthy, bronzey skin and precise grooming.

Skin

  • polished, bronzed and healthy 

  • Intentional highlight, glowy and with a defined and lip

Eyes

  • Soft clean or smokey eyes , defined but no graphic liner and no modern or trendy driven shapes

  • mascara 

Brows

  • Groomed and maintained

  • Natural shape

  • Not overly sculpted, laminated, or stylized

Lips

  • Please bring Gloss or lipstick! No REDS 

Men's Grooming

  • Clean-shaven or short, well-groomed facial hair

  • Skin should appear healthy bronzey and even-toned

  • No visible tattoos

  • Brows groomed but natural

Facial Hair
Facial hair is welcome, but anything long or heavy may be trimmed.
We’re maintaining the idea that it’s too hot for excess weight or density.

Nails
Polish is fine — short to medium length, rounded shapes. Nothing super bold or distracting. Preferably no gems or adornments.

Tattoos
Please point out any tattoos to your Makeup Artist.
They will determine if coverage or modification is needed (especially for anything modern, branded, or distracting).

Soldiers- please come clean shaven.

We would like it if everyone could come with clean hair , No products , no curling iron styles , no beach waves .
Hair should be clean and natural .
Hair will not have enough BG artists to do everyone so we are relying on people to please follow the board and come ready to work . Hair Inspiration Board: Click here
If people are wearing wigs please no beach waves keep as natural as possible.
We will add product if needed.




PLEASE REMEMBER:

  • Please show up hair, makeup, and wardrobe camera-ready.

  • Please be professional and get to set at your designated call time. Make sure you check in with the PA in holding BEFORE you go get breakfast or go to wardrobe. Please make sure the PA checks off your name and check-in# and gives you a voucher before you step away.

  • GHOST is using the RABS Digital Voucher System.  The system is approved by SAG-AFTRA. RABS will text you at call, at meals, and at wrap. Please complete your "Payroll Wizard", aka Digital Voucher, at this link:  https://ghost.rabs.app/bg

    It is important that you review and complete your digital voucher, including your I9. Remember, if you are uploading a List B and List C ID for I9 verification, only upload an image of the front of each document. If uploading a List A ID with two sides, you must upload images of both the front and back.


    If it is more convenient for you, you may complete RABS "Payroll Wizard" before you report to work. You must complete all digital forms once you check in at holding so that payroll has all necessary information to process your payment.

  • Do not bring weapons or firearms of any kind to work. 



Everyone must bring valid, unexpired ID to fill out the I-9 on the voucher you will be given on set. You cannot work without presenting identification. 

IF YOU HAVE A VISA, RESTRICTED SSN CARD, OR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION CARD OF ANY KIND, YOU MUST CONTACT CASTING (ghost@gwcnyc.com) IMMEDIATELY.

PLEASE BRING:

A) an unexpired US Passport or US Passport Card, Permanent Resident Card, or an unrestricted Employment Authorization Card that contains a photograph

OR

B) unexpired US state-issued driver's license, US federal or state government-issued photo ID, or, for minors, a medical record or report card

AND

C) an unrestricted U.S. Social Security account number card or US-issued birth certificate

If you have any one of the options under A), that is all you need to bring. If you don't have an A) document, you must bring BOTH one B) and one C) document.

Please note, GWCI is not the employer for your work on this project. The employer of record is the production company and the payroll company. GWCI may contact you via text in regards to your work on this production.
