ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR THE CARNIVAL:

  • Please note that props will be handing out carnival snacks that are the following; Hot dogs

    Egg salad sandwiches, Cotton candy, Candy apples, Popcorn, Peanuts- please notify us or someone on set if you have a peanut allergy

  • For makeup notes for women- woman PLEASE already arrive with a foundation base on, and mascara. The makeup team will apply the blush placement and lips.

  • Men must arrive to set clean shaven or with a neatly trimmed mustache ONLY. Do not arrive with stubble. Men playing military must be clean shaven! Beards are not permitted for this time period.

HAIR DETAILS:

Men for 1940s: men must be okay getting 1940s haircuts and leave long on top to the period , clean hair on shoot date and they will put product in.

Women for 1940s: women must have clean hair on shoot date. The length should not go past bra strap, No fashion colors.  No modern undercuts, twists, extensions, or braids that can't be removed. No bold highlights, purple, pink, etc or any bright colors.   African American women, if you have a wig that the hair dept can style into 1940s period hairstyle, please feel free to bring.

Men & Women for 1890s- you were cast from your photo, please notify us immediately if you have to change your look from your photo. Please ask us if you need clarification on what photo you were cast from! 



MAKE-UP DETAILS:

Please see the attached reference sheets that correspond to the year you are working.

WARDOBE DETAILS:

-Bring all of your things clean.
-ALL SAG are WEAR 1. Non SAG- Bring as many choices in everything you can.
-NO logos

If you attended a fitting, you are to bring/wear what you were instructed to at your fitting. If you didn’t attend a fitting, please follow the instructions below:
MEN-
Shirts: White short-sleeve undershirt (Crew or V neck) and/or a white tank top.
Socks: Black/brown dress socks and 1 pair of athletic socks.
Shoes: Round toe in styles of: penny loafers, saddles, wingtip, lace-up boots, oxfords,
converse/keds (high tops).

WOMEN-
Jewelry: Simple Earrings (pearl studs, diamond studs, etc) , brooches, rings, necklaces
(pearls are great!)and bracelets.
Women Stocking/Underwear: Basic nude/black bra, Slips (half or full), stockings in
nude, mocha, or black sheer
Women Purses: Leather structured bags, leather trimmed cloth bags, tailored pouch,
box bag, etc
Women’s shoes: Women Shoes: Simple flats, penny loafers, Keds, and converse



PROJECT DETAILS:

  • This project takes place in the 1940s (with a few scenes that take place in 1890s)

  • The film’s genre is a horror film.

  • Be professional on set. This means absolutely NO ONE should be asking cast for photos or selfies. If you ask or take a photo of a cast member or approach them to ask for a selfie, you will be fired from the day without pay.

  • SET YOUR ALARMS & ALLOW YOURSELF ENOUGH TIME TO GET TO SET ON TIME!!!!

  • Shooting for SUMMER SEASON!

  • FOR MINORS: ***Minors MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian (a guardian must be AT LEAST 18 years old) and have a valid NY Child Performer Work Permit and ID (such as birth certificate or SS card AND a report card or medical record). VERY IMPORTANT: If you do not have the work permit set up and brought with you, your child will be sent home. You must also have your child’s trust account info. Please note, parents may not bring other children with them to set. Only the child who is working and their guardian are allowed on set.***

  • This is a reminder to all cast and crew that NO personal photography or video on set (or in rehearsal, offices, workspaces) is permitted.

  • There is also a strict social media blackout policy. No cast or crew is permitted to post about the project on any social media outlets or speak to the press.

  • There may be smoking/atmospheric smoke on set.

  • No wool allergies. 


***A few gentle reminders regarding confidentiality- regarding social media (e.g., Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc...) all of which are part of our everyday experiences.

Please help to enforce and follow these simple, but very important policies so as not to compromise our film, and our livelihoods, in any way.

1. No photos, video or audio recordings at any time on your cell phones or other devices on or around set.

2. Do not disclose to anyone outside of the production information concerning the series, plot points, storylines, characters or cast.

3. Do not post photos or details of production material such as scripts, schedules, call sheets, sides, art work, costumes, props, set, etc... and do not let them out of your personal possession.

4. Do not post the production address or shooting location. Always clear set visits for non-production personnel through the production office.

5. Please return any film-related materials (i.e.: scripts, schedules, call sheets, sides, etc...) to the production office to be confidentially shredded and recycled.

6. Per New Line's security protocols, photography is strictly prohibited on set, and no photos may be posted to social media as agreed to in your completed start work.

7. Please also note that only individuals with a PHOTO sticker displayed on their production badge, issued by Production, are authorized to take photographs on set.

Please remember:

  • Please show up following the hair, make up and wardrobe instructions above.

  • Be professional on set. This means absolutely NO ONE should be asking cast for photos or selfies. If you ask or take a photo of a cast member, you will be fired from the day without pay.

  • Please be professional and get to set at your designated call time. If you are late, we are called and have to track you down.  This slows down production. Make sure you check in with the PA in holding BEFORE you go get breakfast or go to wardrobe. Please make sure the PA checks off your name and check-in# and gives you a voucher before you step away.

  • Grant Wilfley Casting, Inc., Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, Terms and Conditions, and have received the New York Employment Agency Poster.

  • Please note, GWCI is not the employer for your work on this project. The employer of record is the production company and the payroll company. GWCI may contact you via text in regards to your work on this production.

· Everyone must bring valid, unexpired ID to fill out the I-9 on the voucher you will be given on set. You cannot work without presenting identification. 

IF YOU HAVE A VISA, RESTRICTED SSN CARD, OR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION CARD OF ANY KIND, YOU MUST CONTACT  Vincent @ (646) 747-1570 IMMEDIATELY.

A) an unexpired US Passport or US Passport Card, Permanent Resident Card, or an unrestricted Employment Authorization Card that contains a photograph

AND

C) an unrestricted U.S. Social Security account number card or US-issued birth certificate

If you have any one of the options under A), that is all you need to bring. If you don't have an A) document, you must bring BOTH one B) and one C) document.
